By Alma?\u00a2\u201a\u00c7\u00a8\u201a\u00d1\u00a2s definition, God needs to be true?\u00a2\u201a\u00c7\u00a8\u201a\u00c4\u00f9or exist?\u00a2\u201a\u00c7\u00a8\u201a\u00c4\u00f9in order for me to have faith in Him. Yet, how can I know in advance He exists?\u00a2\u201a\u00c7\u00a8\u201a\u00c4\u00f9is true?\u00a2\u201a\u00c7\u00a8\u201a\u00c4\u00f9before I have faith in Him?<\/p>\n
You might say, ?\u00a2\u201a\u00c7\u00a8?\u00ecJoseph Smith, Moses and others saw him and testify of him?\u00a2\u201a\u00c7\u00a8\u00ac\u00f9. Absolutely, but I wasn?\u00a2\u201a\u00c7\u00a8\u201a\u00d1\u00a2t there with them, so I have to have faith in their words or testimonies. However, that brings us back to knowing something is true before having faith in it. I would need to know that what Joseph Smith, Moses and others claimed were true before I can have faith in their words.<\/p>\n
I have no problems with faith amounting to a belief in something that cannot be seen.
