In episode one of the Mormon Stories podcast<\/a>, John Dehlin states that at one point in the 1990s Elder Dallin Oaks said that we cannot make goals for something that depends on a person’s right to choose (i.e. baptism).<\/p>\n I know that despite this idea, my mission (and others) constantly set baptismal goals. Is this still a common practice in missions?
