10 observations and suggestions to strengthening our testimonies, according to Cecil O. Samuelson, Jr<\/a>:<\/p>\n

  1. Everyone has worth because we are all children of God.<\/li>\n
  2. Change of heart\u00c2\u00a0occurs gradually and in response to specific questions, experiences, and concerns as well as by our study and prayer.<\/li>\n
  3. Purpose of life is to be tested and stretched.<\/li>\n
  4. Trust the things we believe in or know to sustain us in times of uncertainty.<\/li>\n
  5. Gaining a testimony is a progression along the continuum of hoping, believing, and knowing.<\/li>\n
  6. Teaching someone else what we know strengthens our own testimony.<\/li>\n
  7. Do the little but necessary things daily and regularly<\/li>\n
  8. We should not have higher standards for others than we do for ourselves.<\/li>\n
  9. Remember being too hard on yourself when you make a mistake can be negative<\/li>\n
