In Duties and Blessings of the Priesthood, Part B<\/cite>, it states the following regarding consecrated oil<\/a>.<\/p>\n One or more Melchizedek Priesthood holders must consecrate olive oil before it is used to anoint the sick or afflicted. No other oil may be used.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n There is no mention about whether it should be extra virgin, virgin, or plain ol’ olive oil.
