In Moroni 7:47, the prophet Mormon defined charity as the pure love of Christ. Two verses prior, he outlined several qualities of charity:<\/p>\n
*Suffers long
\n*Is kind
\n*Envies not
\n*Is not puffed up
\n*Seeks not her own
\n*Is not easily provoked
\n*Thinks no evil
\n*Rejoices not in iniquity but in truth
\n*Bears all things
\n*Believes all things
\n*Hopeth all things
\n*Endures all things<\/p>\n
So my question then is how do each of these make one charitable. It’s easy for me to see how being kind fits into our traditional definition of charity.
