I believe the intent is wrong as well, since &#8216;thee&#8217; and &#8216;thou&#8217; are actually less formal.<\/p>\n<p>Paul said something about this in 1 Corinthians 14:19:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>yet in the church I would rather speak five words with my understanding, that I may teach others also, than ten thousand words in a tongue.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Okay, why is it that all official LDS (and other denominational) prayers continue to use words like &#8216;thee&#8217;
