A few things.

I’m not sure what you mean by “fighting too hard”. What constitutes “fighting”? How hard should I be fighting? Is there a metric one uses to determine hardness? Should I be aiming for a specific range of hardness using that metric? Is there an equivalent “fighting too soft”?

What do you mean by “everyone else”? As in 7.5 billion people? Am I the only person in the world who takes my position? Everyone else in the world is on the same side as one another?

You do realize, right, that I was the one who presented a premise, and that others are coming on here to present claims that counter my premise? Then I counter their counter claims? In other words, I don’t think it’s me that the accusation of fighting lies with.

I must be gay because I counter popular claims Christians make about gay people? If I countered popular claims about Jewish people, will that make me Jewish? If I countered popular claims about black people, will that make me black? If I countered popular claims about women, will that make me a woman?

Homosexuality isn’t a lifestyle. That’s like saying heterosexuality is a lifestyle. It makes no sense.

Plugging a cord into an outlet doesn’t produce energy. I think you may need to brush up on your electricity knowledge.

What do you mean by “animals and insects follow the principles of God”? That animals and insects have only heterosexual relationships? Because that’s completely false.

Kim Silvers you Must be a homosexual because you are fighting too hard to prove everyone else wrong concerning homosexuality. If that’s the lifestyle that you live in practice just do it and stop trying to push your beliefs upon everyone else because ultimately on Judgement Day we all have to stand accountable before God and I pray for your sake that you are right my friend!!! He did not die for our sins for us to come to him in any type of way. God has a order to everything and you can’t tell me two left shoes are right… you can’t plug a cord into another cord nor an outlet to another Outlet only a cord which is the mail in is inserted to the Outlet which is the female this is the only way energy is produced. What’s sad is that animals and insects follow the principles of God and humankind can’t do so! I don’t see two male lion sleeping with each other or any other animal for that note because they know that that is not normal nor the principal of their creator. This is not an issue of being a homosexual because if that’s what you are be that and don’t explain it to no one, but you shouldn’t speak unless you are speaking truth!

Sorry Kim, dude; you are really stretching to justify an abomination, an affront to God’s pattern for the relationship of Christ to His Bride. Homosexuality is a deviation from a life-giving plan designed with multiple spiritual parallels. It is very enticing, but why wouldn’t it be? Get the context of spirit, not man’s wisdom on this. By the sort of “wisdom” you offer, the world “by wisdom knew not God.” I know it is painful, but there is such a thing as sin, and it is clearly outlined for us all; and great spiritual rewards in avoiding it, even at the cost of personal suffering…such trouble cannot compare to the joy of overcoming, we are told. I Timothy 6:20– Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to your care. Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge, which some have professed and in so doing have departed from the faith.

I LOVE truth! Thanks so much for your thoughts and for putting them out there! I know that I’m greatly colored by the times and society in which I live. Homosexuality, greed, racism, sexism all bother me but the love Jesus taught and towing a straight line are beautiful and logical paths in my mind to happiness. Every other way (I think I’ve tried them all, at least in my mind) ends in conflict, confusion and ultimate sadness. One of the most pernicious false beliefs is that the mad rush to heap up treasures and amusement is the way to find happiness. Thanks again for your thoughts.
