While waiting to go into a session at the temple a couple of days ago, I came across 2 Ne 28:32:
Wo be unto the Gentiles, saith the Lord God of Hosts! For notwithstanding I shall lengthen out mine arm unto them from day to day, they will deny me; nevertheless, I will be merciful unto them, saith the Lord God, if they will repent and come unto me; for mine arm is lengthened out all the day long, saith the Lord God of Hosts.
This really got me thinking about my own life.
Here God is being patient and ever willing to extend his arm to s if we repent, even if it takes years or generations. Then here I am frustrated if something doesn’t go my way after 10 minutes.
Granted, God is perfect. I wonder though if there is some way of being able to teach ourselves to be more patient.
