We read the following in D&C 88:6:
He that ascended up on high, as also he descended below all things, in that he comprehended all things, that he might be in all and through all things, the light of truth;
We read further on the following:
The light which is in all things, which giveth life to all things, which is the law by which all things are governed, even the power of God who sitteth upon his throne, who is in the bosom of eternity, who is in the midst of all things.
So if to become the light of truth ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äù and thus the light in all things and which is the source of light ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äù Jesus had to descend below all things, where did light come from before his condescension? Certainly their was light before then.
Kim,
Read 2Ne2; 2Ne11:7; D&C88:13; Mosiah 15:1-8; John 1:;
That was a test. I haven’t been able to post here for ages, and finally it works.
Just a note on the post. The Light of Christ is what gives life to all things, therefore it had to exist before He came into mortality. See Moses 1:6.
Time is not the element here, nor is mortality.
