That really hurts. Right here where my heart would be if I didn’t have a blackened mass of hatred in lieu of. =)

I blame the Canadian climate and lifestyle for my current weight. When I lived in Australia I was considerably more healthy and I certainly didn’t put any more effort into it.

…or maybe it’s just my desk job.

Goodness knows I could use the exercise, though.

I can vouch for that, having seen rick.

“Do you play on a soccer team? “

I wish I had the time. I played in an ad hoc game every Wednesday two years ago (during the summer months), and I loved every minute of it. If we move to Lethbridge, I may join the adult indoor rec league.

I love my running time to think. Do you play on a soccer team? Our son is rapidly becoming a soccer fanatic, lol

I hate it soooooo much.
I’m afraid that I can’t take long periods of boredom, maybe I’m a bit ADD or something. Running is painfully unstimulating for me. Over and above the fact that I’m getting exercise, it does nothing for me.
I need to be doing a sport or group activity to enjoy myself. I love soccer, and have no problems with running for a reason. Goodness knows I could use the exercise, though.

Yes, a terrific health benefit. It helped me lose 126 lbs, but that’s not why I run, I run to become stronger, faster and accomplish goals. Yes, I love it. Lots and lots.

People who diss it are just jealous.

What feels good is not always good for you…

…although runners want to claim some sort of peripheral ‘health benefit’ for some reason. ;)

Oh good luck to your brother! I love counseling people in nutrition (not that I have done it in an official manner as of yet, but pretty much informally)
