But if a baby comes back to life it is becuase s/he wasn’t supposed to die yet. Or something to that effect.

So the question, as I understand it, is, how is this a sign of any supernatural being?

I think it’s fair to say that if a baby comes back to life after 30 minutes of no life signs, then evidence of [insert favorite god] exists.

However, I would think it’s equally fair to say that if another baby does not come back to life after 30 minutes of no life signs, then we have equally compelling evidence of a godless universe.

Perhaps, it could be argued that only one baby needs to come back to life in order to consider it evidence for God (because God’s ways are mysterious to man) but is it possible that a baby could come back to life without intervention from God. Well, the fact that the baby did it, is evidence it’s possible, so we can’t really use that as evidence for anything else then, can we?

In conclusion, the baby coming back to life is only evidence for the fact that in this rare instance it’s possible for a baby to come back to life after 30 minutes of no life signs.

You asked and I speculated. It’s in my nature.

My point being that it spoke to all faiths as a confirmation of THEIR god; an ironic lemma to your question “A sign of God?”.

Okay, I’ll bite.

A sign of which god?
Poseidon? Chang’e? Anubis? Vishnu? Anu? Odin?

I’m at a loss in regard to which god this ‘miracle’ should be attributed to…

I mean, which team gets to score this point?

If only they left calling cards.
