How horrible! Why on earth would a police officer point a gun at a 7 year old child? He sounds like a lunatic! I can’t even imagine my 7 year old daughter having to experience something like this.
Wow.
Talk about your over-reactions…
I meant the cop, not you Mary… =)
lol, I know.
There are loonies in our police dept.s? I’m shocked.
Just because they take 18 hours to respond to a 911 call in Calgary after a break-in at her home is no reason for us to question the efficiency of our police forces.
The call was placed at 3:30 P.M. by a young girl, from her neighbour’s home, because she suspected the perp was still in her home after she returned home from school.
They responded promptly at about 10:00 A.M. the next morning.
Good work guys.
The cop who pulled the gun should have holstered it immediately, after seeing the child. The fact that he continued in his lunacy means he should be charged and handled severely. This assumes that the story is true.
I had a friend who was a cop and he was killed by a child who had a gun.
It sounds like you have a serious shortage of police in Canada for a call to take that long to be responded to.
Yeah because one incident is reflective of every police force in every city and town across the country.

However this 7 year old child was not threatening the police officer. He was threatening her. She was a passenger in her mother’s vehicle.
We do not have a shortage of police in our country.
