There are those who process fat and cholesterol well, and those who don’t. I want to say that there is like 10% (I’m too lazy to look it up) who will have high cholesterol regardless (i.e., unless you go for statins).

So, be grateful for good genes.

At least in the last 20-30 years.

However, you are right. Those administering the tests did say the most contributing factor to high cholesterol is a genetic predisposition. Inactivity and poor diet are next, but much less in importance.

I think that’s so true.

I like apples, ornages, pears, banana’s, and kiwi’s. But I don’t care for vegies as much although I like carrots, pork and beans, spinish, and corn and sometimes green beans.

That is not to say that there are not cultural influences as well. But, if you are someone back in 6,000 BC, fruit are probably even a better source of calories than vegies.
