While having Suppertime Scripture Study tonight, we were discussing part of King Benjamin’s story. Specifically, we discussed Mosiah 2:6
>And they pitched their tents round about the temple, every man having his tent with the door thereof towards the temple, that thereby they might remain in their tents and hear the words which king Benjamin should speak unto them
We discussed how we can figuratively make the doors of our homes point to the temples. For example, we can lead lives of charity and integrity. As we live such principles in our home, then our door could lead to the temple.
I was actually surprised that a 6-year-old and an 8-year-old even picked up on the allegory.
I’m not surprised! They have parents that are committed to teaching them the gospel from the day they are born and are fine examples for them to follow.
